Studio 16 Architecture PLLC Vision Statement

Think about the best times of your life – what were they like?
What does your house mean to you, or your office, store, restaurant, gallery or repair shop?
Think about a great building or space that you have experienced – how did it make you feel?

Architecture provides you with the place to raise your family,
grow your business,
educate your children,
improve your health,
display your works of art,
record your music,
sell your merchandise –
all while making you feel good.
Architecture expands your life.

Architecture – designing and constructing a building or interior – is a thrilling process like no other. When you work with Studio 16, you will experience the excitement of the creative process that transforms Visions of Space into Built Reality.

This is why we do what we do.

History

Studio 16 Architecture is the successor firm to Salvadeo Associates Architects, P.C.

Nicholas J. Salvadeo, AIA began his practice as Nicholas J. Salvadeo, AIA, P.C. in 1972. Nicholas Salvadeo was a student of the Bauhaus and was inspired by Walter Gropius and the other founders of the International Style. He was also a brilliant legal mind, and he became well known and respected for his extensive knowledge of zoning and building codes. The firm grew and became a well known local firm serving New York City. In 1996, David L. Businelli, AIA became a partner and the firm was changed to Salvadeo Associates Architects, P.C. Nick retired shortly thereafter, and the firm was lead by Businelli and Project Manager Cesare Giaquinto. The firm grew to become an internationally recognized design firm, achieving many awards along the way. Nick passed away in 2005.
